Catching Up on Scrapbooking

I have about a million things to do right now. Seriously, my list of things to do before I leave for Hawaii is a page long. But ---- I am on a roll with scrapbooking tonight! I really want to publish an album before I leave for vacation, and I realized today that I had a couple more spreads I wanted to add to the book before I send it off for publication. The album is from 2007, by the way. (I told you I was playing catch up!) Many of the spreads in this album are the first ones I ever made, and it's been really neat to look back over them and see how my skills have progressed over the years.

Here are a couple of the pages that I completed tonight. I am trying to speed scrap, so they aren't super elaborate, but I like them nonetheless. (Five pages in one night?! I must be speed-scrapping!!)

Two pages of Oktoberfest fun with Tim, my sister, and cousin
Some of my favorite photos taken on the Mosel River in Germany
Pigfest: a German tradition (they are all about 'fests!)
And my favorite of the night! This page really is about Tim's aviation career coming "full circle". He was able to fly an A-10 on a cross-country trip back into the tiny little airport where he went to college. It was pretty wild for him to taxi past pipsqueak little prop planes in his fighter jet and think, "I used to fly that plane!"
That's all for tonight, folks! I promise I will get around to posting pictures from last weekend's baby shower sometime soon. I am making a cake for a bridal shower this weekend and I'm determined to color my fondant red and black. (Those of you who have worked with fondant know how seemingly impossible this is!) Wish me luck!!

Challenge 10, part 1

Grace, you can grab the PNG file here and add your photo/journaling, just in case the email I sent didn't go through.
